This annual tradition is a fun way to celebrate our budding musicians, create excitement for the program, and fundraise money for the Preludes program. The staff of Paul Banks and the Preludes committee puts on a community dinner for around 300 people. Throughout the evening we hold live and silent auctions of desserts made by parents, program supporters, and local businesses. This year one cake sold for over $400 dollars! During the dinner, guests are serenaded by violin music from our youngest violinists, the Paul Banks Preludes, all the way up through the age ranges to the Homer Youth Symphony Orchestra. It is so motivating to our little Peanuts to see what they can accomplish in music if they stick with it!
